An ideal location, scrumptious food and a lot of getting to know each other…perfect date!
They say beauty is skin deep, a happy heart reflects a happy face, but how to tackle wrinkles and signs of aging? they just come uninvited no matter how much you stay relaxed and at ease. Every woman will agree with me when it comes to these drawbacks our skin faces irrespective of its type. For long I’ve been confused about my skin type and with age, I’ve noticed my skin changing, it’s never the same. In my early 20s, I was obsessed with foundations and make-up but now I do realize the importance of healthy beauty products which help in regeneration of skin and purification from deep within rather than a mere shield from the top.
Conclusion: Quit foundation and heavy make-up, instead invest in something your future years will thank you for, give your skin a boost from within.
Normally when we walk around the mall and notice brands we don’t really see the background or pay much heed to the ingredients used, all we care is ‘RESULTS’, what if a chemically strong product could work wonders in short-term and a product made of natural ingredients gives a steady and long-term benefit? What would you choose? I’m sure most of you might say you’d choose a product which is made from natural extracts and has mild ingredients. But honestly, how much time do we take in knowing the components of any product? The brand name often out pars our thinking towards it and we place our trust in the brand rather than its ingredients or suitability. Your skin deserves importance and care, it’s something which makes you feel confident after all. Take some time to look up the ingredients and maybe search online if you’re not sure about the components of the product you wish to buy.
I recently attended an event organized by Bloggerang at Ostro Dubai for Clarins. One lazy afternoon which turned into an insightful and fun exercise to not just know more about blogging but in-depth analysis of Clarins. Earlier I was naïve when it came to Clarins, I’ve used their products but never really took time to know the ingredients. The session was an eye-opener about Clarins and addressing the needs of my skin.
As we were told at the event, “It’s a family business and therefore Clarins goes out of its way to provide nothing but the best, we make sure every ingredient used is made of natural plant extracts which are beneficial, and the only side effects would be soft, plump and healthy skin.”
Clarins was kind enough to let all of us know about its 8th generation edition of Double Serum. As innovative as this product gets, it screams ‘everything natural’. The serum has a light texture which is a combination of water and oil-soluble ingredients, having a soothing fragrance which makes it a good option to apply just before the day cream and night cream. The amber looking bottle is an irresistible sight for ladies who are 25plus and want a supple, youthful glow. Clarins double serum comprises of 20+ 1 ingredients from plant extracts promising to battle signs of ageing and promoting 5 vital functions (Regeneration, Oxygenation, Nutrition, Hydration, and Protection).
The ingredients in The Double Serum are:
- Cocoa tree
- Leaf of life
- Red Jania
- Huang Qi
- Goji berry
- Ginger Lily
- Mango tree
- Horse chestnut
- Mary’s whistle
- Marsh Samphire
I do not base any assumption or applaud anything till the time I don’t try it and as always, I take up a 21-day test to see how it works on my skin. Post 21 days of my serum routine I promise to review and let everyone know about my experience.
Talking about the Oooh so dreamy! venue- Ostro, is a Mediterranean restaurant located in the bustling area of Barsha Heights, the detailing and the nautical vibes blended with a sophisticated feel gives a sense of freshness and novelty. Not forgetting the elements used in the décor making the place a desirable setting for relishing mouth-watering delicacies. The amiable staff and well-organized event sure kept us all asking for more, and before we realized it was time to say goodbye.
Bloggerang meetup event was more like a bonding session where we got extremely candid about blogger life (All that glitters is definitely not gold), there is a lot more than the eyes meet. Isn’t it a deadly combination when women from a similar background meet over high tea and discuss their experiences, and what more? There’s beauty involved too… Clarins sure gave us skin goals.
P.S Thank you for the thoughtful goodie bag, Clarins!
